Do you know the flame grade of PVC flooring?

PVC vinyl flooring is more and more popular in Century 21. That is why people pay more attention on the details of PVC flooring.For example more people care about the flammability. Now we will learn how is flammability defined? According to China standard GB8624-97,building materials combustion performance can be divided into the following grades:

(1) Class A: incombustible materials: hardly burning materials

(2) Class B1: flame retardant sex building materials: flame retardant materials has good flame resistant effect.
Meets open fire in the air or at high temperature, it is difficult to fire, and not easy to quickly spread. What's more, it will stop firing immediately when you remove the burning.

(3) Class B2: combustible building materials: they have certain flame retardant effect.
Meets open fire in the air or at high temperature, it starts to fire immediately and easy to quickly spread, such as wooden poles, wooden frame, wooden beams, wooden stairs etc.

(4) Class B3: Flammable building materials: Without any resistance effect of combustion, very easy to fire, and fire hazard is very large.

According to the PVC flammability performance, it meets Class B1.It is wear-resistance. And the law only allow PVC flooring above B1.
