Firstly Checking the formaldehyde if exceed standard.
We can split the vinyl flooring and expose the basic layer to the air, if you feel pungent,the formaldehyde must be over the limit.

Secondly Checking the Vinyl Basic Material layer.         
Good basic layer's density is from 0.83/cm3 to  0.95g/cm3, which is a good stability. The color is pure and the flooring is soft and without smell.

Thirdly Checking the damp-proof layer.
Good damp-proof layer can effectively prevent flooring deforming and lifting, which has the functions of damp-proof, thermal conductivity and sound-proof.
